Pet Transport Service – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What makes using your service different from using a regular taxicab? Safety, Reliability and Courteous service are the extras you receive when you experience our pet transportation service. Anyone can get you from point A to point B. It’s the professionalism, care and attention to you and your pet’s every need that separates us from any taxicab or other services. We make every effort to accommodate any special request you may need to make your pet’s trip a safe, comfortable and worry free experience.

How do I make an appointment? You can schedule an appointment by calling us at 214-208-2182. How far in advance do I need to make an appointment? In order to increase the chances of getting the time and day you prefer, we recommend that you make an appointment at least 24 hours in advance.
Do you take last minute appointment requests? Yes. However, availability and choice of times may be limited.

Are pet owners allowed to ride along with their pet on trips? Yes. Owners are always welcomed to ride with their pet. Our vehicles have a full size bench seat in the back with more than enough room for you and your pet(s) comfortable ride.

What is considered a Round Trip? A round trip is service that is continuous, meaning that the driver will wait throughout your pets appointment and will provide the return trip home immediately after. Please note: If your pet’s appointment requires a longer stay, you may want to consider scheduling two (2) individual one-way trips.

What are your rates? Our rates vary and there are other factors that are taken into account. You can view our rates for all of our transport services by clicking on the pet services pricing link on our website or clicking here.

Is there an additional charge if I want you to transport more than one pet? There is a $5.00 charge for additional pets after the first pet in the same household.

Do you provide assistance with getting my pet down from my apartment? Yes. This is one of the main benefits of using our service and that separates us from a regular taxi service. Our driver can assist you with getting your cat into their carrier, carrying your dog down, or assisting you in other ways that makes your trip to your destination easier on you.

What is your cancellation policy? If you need to cancel a scheduled appointment, we ask that you give us as much notice as possible. As long as we do not send a driver out, there is no cancellation fee. However, if we do send a driver, the minimum one way quoted rate will be charged.

Does my pet need to be in a crated while being transported? All cats are required to be crated for the simple reason that they are more difficult to restrain and the chances of them escaping are considerably higher. When transporting dogs, we usually crate all dogs except when the owner is accompanying their dog, if the dog is too large for the available crate or if the dog is injured and crating is not possible. In these cases, we prefer that dogs wear a harness in order to be safely fastened and secured in our van. Dogs that show aggression towards people or other dogs will need to be crated in order to be transported.
